Today's Horse Racing Picks:

BELMONT PARK Race #4 at 2:30 PM Eastern

Top pick: #7 (CORONATIONDAY) - Excellent debut speed shown at Saratoga on August 28. Set/pressed a fast pace and held gamely to finish a close-up third. Comes back quickly for start number two and trainer George Weaver adds blinkers to his equipment today.
2nd pick: #1a (Saratoga Steve) - Defeated the top pick in his latest at the Spa. by less than a length. Race was his second strong race on the turf and trainer Tim Ritvo also adds blinkers to this runner. The main danger.
3rd pick: #8 (Pazzesco) - He'll move to the grass for the first time after showing good speed in his latest on the dirt. Raced close up to "Head Heart Hoof" who returned to win easily this past Saturday. Nice recent drill, and he's a contender at a square price.
4th pick: #3 (Show Me the Cash) - Noticeable improvement in his second start when trainer Bruce Brown moved him to the turf. He stayed on the rail and held his position late to finish a close-up fourth.

BELMONT PARK Race #5 at 3:00 PM Eastern
Top pick: #5 (Fast N Sassy) - Wide in her last after Bruce Levine gave her a seven-week freshening. Daughter of "Broken Vow" was sharp in her maiden win on this course July 3. Ready for her best.
2nd pick: #3 (Cordilleran Ice) - Fields most experienced runner has some very strong tries at this level and distance. Big threat to win this.
3rd pick: #2 (Can She Dance) - Last out at the Spa. she rallied late to finish second to a good-looking winner who went virtually wire-to-wire. Lightly raced and improving, she has a chance with a late run.
4th pick: #1 (Crazy Catlady) - Her performance has improved dramatically since she moved to the grass. Has some speed, attracts Prado, and draws the inside post.

BELMONT PARK Race #7 at 4:00 PM Eastern
Top pick: #5 (ANOTHER GULCH) - Just missed three back at tis tag and distance. Had a poor post (12) in his next at Saratoga, then was eliminated at the start of his latest. Big shot at the win, and at a square price.
2nd pick: #3 (Frenchman's Cove) - Claimed last out by Chad Brown from Graham Motion for $35,000. New trainer has done well with his claims, and he runs him back at the same tag with "blinkers" on.
3rd pick: #4 (Monsooned Malabar) - Improving since coming to the Gary Contessa barn. Runner has finished close-up in his last three at Saratoga, all at this claiming price. Contender from mid-pack.
4th pick: #6 (Classic Impact) - Appears to be racing himself into shape and he brings a strong closing kick to the contest. Fits at this tag but needs to finish just a bit better.
5th pick: #10 (Counting House) - Has become a much better runner since switching to the turg. Lightly raced and improving, he has some speed and draws a good post.

BELMONT PARK Race #9 at 5:00 PM Eastern
Top pick: #4 (BETTER THAN SWISS) - Tons the best in her last, but she had to settle for second because of a "brutal" trip. Filly had terrible start and rallied late to just miss. Wins this with an alert beginning.
2nd pick: #7 (Sweet Bama Breeze) - Logical contender and a strong foe. Linda Rice trained filly has finished second in six of eight career starts, including a pair on the turf. Makes her third start off a layoff and is the main danger.
3rd pick: #9 (Afleet Aya) - Claimed out of her last by Rich Schosberg who doesn't play that game much anymore. Filly has finished second in her only two appearances (both on the dirt), and new trainer immediately sends her to the turf.
4th pick: #2 (Linda's Kisses) - No chance in her last with a bad start at Saratoga. Filly has a hint of speed and there's an interesting jockey switch to Kent Desormeaux.
