This gelding was claimed two back, and he has already improved quite a bit in his first race for the new connections. (# 6) Herecomeshollywood - Ten weeks on the side for this talented son of "Woodman." Working well at Monmouth for trainer Richard Dutrow, and he is an obvious contender if he goes. (# 2) The Village Vicar - Claimed last out by Dave Duggan and he took him first off a seven-week layoff. Picked up where he left off and should be heard from late in this race. (# 5) Kenta Kun - Goes from long on grass to short on dirt. Had trouble in his previous start and that race had some fair runners. AQUEDUCT Race #FIVE (3:00 PM Eastern) (# 2) S.S.BELLE - The best speed closest to the rail in here. Drops to a new claiming low, is working well over this surface, and two of her three wins are over this dirt. (# 4) Harmonic Miss - Drops to 20% of the claimed price three back. Been away for two months now, and published drills are very light. If she can still run she's extremely dangerous. (# 8) Papa's Girl - Another away two months and comes back at a new low. Has been on the grass most of this year, but owns a pair of wins on the dirt. (# 7) Angel Dancer - Her form went sour in July and August so she's been on the sidelines since. Sprinting has never been her strong point, and she may need this one. DELAWARE PARK Race #SEVEN (3:25 PM Eastern) (# 5) PAPUA - Drops to his lowest tag ever. Former stakes runner has slipped with advancing age. But is still dangerous against a field of $5000 platers. (# 4) Weston Field - Veteran ran a good race last out around two turns, and has had over a month to recover. Cutsback in distance today and has an excellent shot at the win. Would key the top two picks in the win position. (# 2) Valentino D'Oro - Some speed in his corner, and a good post to use it from. Has picked it up a bit of late, and has the talent to stick it out from start to finish. Several in here don't have much chance so he should be part of the finish. (# 3) Sir Elite - Has enough ability to hang around and maybe sneak into the bottoms of the exotics. AQUEDUCT Race #SEVEN (4:00 PM Eastern) (# 1) GULCH FEVER - Very wide trip in last at Belmont. The conditioned claimers he faced in the last pair were tougher than this allowance field. If all go there is enough speed signed on to help his closing tactics. (# 8) Calagaitor - Another who likes to come from behind. Has a strong series of races at Belmont on his resume. A contested pace would help him out also. (# 5) Trickanometry - Good try in last - a grass sprint at Belmont. Stretches out to a mile today, and should be part of the pace. May stay on well. (# 4) Fairway Drive - Trouble in last at Belmont, and he had hinted in his previous effort that he was coming around towards being competitive again. Horse Racing Picks Resources:
