We'll have all five of the "Cup" races on Friday along with seven of the nine events on Saturday. Both days are now ready and you can get them here for just $35. Wednesday's Results: Belmont Park Race #4 Best Bet #3 (Winthrop House) $5.80. ![]() Today's Horse Racing Picks: Top pick: #1 (SO MUCH TROUBLE) - Makes her first start since mid-May when she couldn't keep pace on a sloppy track at Churchill Downs. Winner won by 13 lengths and came back to take another, so the race isn't as bad as it looks. Trainer switch since that time to Carlos Martin and she's been working fine for her comeback. 2nd pick: #8 (Tic Toccet) - Another who has undergone a trainer switch, this one now with Bobby Barbara. She'll drop into a claimer after a pair of decent tries at Momnouth against MSW foes. She has a pair of sharp recent works and new triner is 20% on this type of drop. I almost put her on top. 3rd pick: #7 (Posse in Effect) - Comes here by way of Arlington where she faced tougher on both turf and their poly-surface. She has basically run evenly in her races and her recent works indicate she's making progress. 4th pick: #3 (Miss Royale) - Has some closing kick, but will need to put in a stronger late run to contend for anything other than a minor award. BELMONT PARK Race #6 at 3:30 PM Eastern Top pick: #4 (CAESAR BEWARE) - Had some serious traffic woes in his latest after scoring a resounding win at Saratoga at this tag in his previous run. Obvious fit, and think with a clear path, he's definitely the horse to beat. 2nd pick: #5 (Steel Light) - Former stakes winner just missed in his latest at this tag in his second race in 17 months. Defeated the top choice in that contest, but as mentioned above, the top pick had major traffic problems. This runner is a legitimate win threat. 3rd pick: #8 (Yario) - Cutsback in distance off a sharp wire-to-wire win last out going 8.5 furlongs at this tag. He has a flexible style and that will come in handy here. Recent race is too good to ignore. 4th pick: #6 (Silver Timber) - Drops into a straight claimer for the first time. He is a late running sprinter and is always subject to traffic issues. Fits, and is especially dangerous if allowed a clear path. SANTA ANITA Race #2 at 4:30 PM Eastern Top pick: #6 (OUR STORM) - She's run well in all four of her starts at this tag, including the last pair at this distance. Closer should receive a solid pace to rally into if all that are entered run. In shape and the choice for the win. 2nd pick: #1 (Zanda Blue) - Part of a strong entry from trainer Tom Bell. Filly finished an even fourth last out at this tag in her first race in almost 2 1/2 months. Draws well and any move forward could win this. 3rd pick: #1a (Desert Siren) - The "other" half of the Bell entry drops and will be stretching out off a sprint try on Oct. 3, when she showed good speed. Fast work since indicates that she's a wire-to-wire threat. 4th pick: #2 (Unusually Brite) - Stretches-out off a pair of sprints for trainer Tim Yakteen. Very wide in her latest from a poor post (11), she draws the rail and will no doubt try and win this early. BELMONT PARK Race #8 at 4:30 PM Eastern Top pick: #6 (BIG TRUCK) - Just missed in his turf debut and by the looks of that race he would appear to have a "Big" future on that surface. Talented and in a great grass barn, (Barclay Tagg), he has an extremely fast work leading into this. 2nd pick: #1 (Atwell) - All turf races are acceptable (7-2-2-2) and gelding is much improved since coming back from a spring vacation. Just missed two back in The "Jersey Derby" and he brings good speed to the contest. 3rd pick: #7 (Sailor's Cap) - Lightly raced runner won the "Colonial Turf Cup" two back and then finished a fine third in the "Virginia Derby" on the same track. Freshened-up since that July 19, race, he's been drilling steadily for his return. 4th pick: #3 (Luck Money) - Freshened-up since a very poor race in his second U.S. start. Won one of Europe's most important races for two-year-olds last year, and he looked sharp at Saratoga in his debut on this side of "the pond." Horse Racing Picks Resources:
