Sunday's Results: Belmont Race #1 Exacta Top three box (9-1) Paid $19.60. Trifecta top three box (9-1-2) Paid $44.60.
Belmont Race #5 Top Pick and 2nd picks, #'s 5 and 2 both scratched. ![]() Today's Horse Racing Picks: (# 6) ONE CLASSY JO - Halves in value for trainer Cathal Lynch after showing good speed against better stock. Seven lb. apprentice retains the mount, and would expect him to send hard early. (# 2) Have Alittle Dream - Makes his second start after debuting for fine trainer Mike Gorham at Delaware Park. Speed shown that day, and with the rail draw, would assume he'll show it again. (# 8) Bear Boundary - Bet down to favoritism in his debut, he ran very poorly and was claimed by Kathy DeMasi for $25,000. Returns here for half that price, and does so with blinkers on. Should do better today. (# 3) Cupid's Flame - First-timer from the Tony Dutrow barn and has several good drills in a long work history dating back to late June. Could be a runner, but trainer always does better second time out. DELAWARE PARK Race #THREE (1:35 PM Eastern) (# 3) ARAVALLI - Been away almost a whole year, and returns here in a very weak spot. Filly has a lot of back class and has been working well in California and now here at Delaware. Makes her first start for trainer Sandra Slivka, and she wins with 19% of her new runners first out. (# 5) La Nina Fria - Bad stumble cost her at the start in last. Recoverd and raced well to eventually finish second in a very small field (4). Obvious contender in a poor race. (# 2) Coyote On Tour - Has eleven starts this season, her first year of competition. Has some closing ability, appears fit enough, and may round out the exotics. PHILADELPHIA PARK Race #FOUR (1:45 PM Eastern) (# 4) FINAL JET - Workouts are just too good to ignore. For a horse like this, a five-year-old, nine-time loser, the drills are outsanding. Has never run with Lasix before, and he get's the medication for the first time. Trainer Jackie DeSanctis is having a good year (28-5-1-1). This is the geldings initial race for her. (# 2) Nicky Blue Eyes - Comes in off a year layoff for trainer Steve Krebs, a former assistant to Scott Lake. This is the lowest tag he has ever raced for. (# 5) Discord - Several competitive races at this price tag, and in this weak field he should run another competitive race. (# 8) Point Rose - Comes here by way of New York with declining form on view. Halves in value today, and that combined with the switch to Philly Park can only help him out. PHILADELPHIA PARK Race #FIVE (2:05 PM Eastern) (# 3) DOWNHILL DANCER - Drops back in distance after a pair of route tries for trainer Ned Allard. Good effort at this tag in last from a wide post (9) in a large field (11) two-turning. Should be fit enough now, and fits well in this field. (# 5) Prancing Lioness - Has regressed in her last pair, one each at Delaware and Laurel. When last seen here, she finished second in a two-turn race at this price tag. Blinkers come off today for trainer Doug Fout. (# 7) T C's Princess - Ran a competitive race in last her first at the level ($10,000) that she was claimed at four back. Needs to stay within range early to have a shot. (# 8) Pidgeon Feathers - Last pair are poor and she needs a career best to have a shot at the win. Maybe best used underneath in your exotic plays. ![]() Horse Racing Picks Resources:
