Despite the problems she still ran well in that outing. Has some positional speed, and she should be fit now after three comeback races on her resume. (# 2) Bulla Regia - Has had problems in only two appearances at the start. Took some sneaky type money in both. Blinkers and Lasix are added today, and filly has a sharp gate work at home base of Fair Hill in Maryland. (# 8) New York Citi - Homebred makes her debut off of some better than average works at various locales. In the Contessa barn, his main-man Coa takes the reins. ( # 3) Hollywood Terrace - Same scenario as the top pick. Goes turf to dirt, and they're actually coming out of the same race. But she had a no excuse trip. Should be forwardly placed in a less than stellar group. BELMONT PARK Race #SIX (3:30 PM Eastern) (# 9) IN P.A.'S HONOUR - Probable favorite ran very well in his only appearance, losing by a bit more than a length on Sept. 12. Working well since for trainer Todd Pletcher, he should get his diploma in his second start today. (# 5) Rule Seventy Six - Excellent second outing when trainer Dave Duggan put blinkers on. Good speed shown, and gelding just failed to hang on. Will probably try and outfoot the choice, but the pick won't let him get too far away. (# 6) Drowning Bear - Debuts for the McLaughlin barn off some fine drills, including a big gate work on Sept. 24. If it's possible, try and see how much support he takes at the windows. (# 7) Wishful Tomcat - Tried a stakes in last and moves back into the maiden ranks for this, a more suitable spot. SANTA ANITA Race #FOUR (5:00 PM Eastern) (# 9) CALL TRANSFER - Good initial effort after coming here from Lone Star Park in Texas. Ran a fine second from a tough outside post at Fairplex's bull ring. That was his first race in two months and that, combined with the drop in for a tag should help him move forward in second off the bench for the O'Neill barn. (# 4) Coastal Eddy - Drops into a claimer after one race against straight maidens at Del Mar. Ran well in that initial experience, and trainer Eoin Hardy names Nakatani today. (# 2) Cavanaugh - Another dropping in for a tag, and this Cal-bred gelding's first three races fit well with these. Jockey Delgadillo is three-for-five riding for trainer Martin Jones. (#'s 5 and 6) Bond and Pistol Pete Afleet - Would use this pair in small exacta boxes with the top selection. BELMONT PARK Race #TEN (5:40 PM Eastern) (# 7) FANFIRE - Excellent debut run in a well-bet situation on Sept. 9 just missing to a runner with much more racing savvy. Sent back to trainer Dickinson's Tapeta Farm, she has worked there since, and ships back for start No. 2. (# 9) Show Me How - Has some speed and makes her first start for trainer Tony Dutrow. Unusual for him to take a $2000 horse (that's what she cost). Excellent four-furlong gate work at Monmouth for this. (# 2) Irish Kahn - Improved significantly in start No. 3. Cuts back in distance and Coa keeps the faith. (# 's 11 and 12) Biarritz and Fiona Freud - Would use this pair in small exacta boxes with the top selection. Horse Racing Picks Resources:
