Horse Racing Tips - November 06, 2007With Calder dark today, we'll offer four races from Philadelphia Park and Turf Paradise. Today's Best Bet is #8 Denealdo in Race #9 at Turf Paradise. Today's Horse Racing Picks: (# 2) SNOWY ELEGANCE - Comes back quickly for start number two, and this route may have been their intended target. Excellent six-furlong work at Monmouth before the second-place finish sprinting here on Oct. 23. Lasix is added today. Good shot at a mild upset. (# 5) Gipsy Biker - Drops into a claimer after a race against straight maidens in the mud at Monmouth. Barn does good things that go unnoticed. Good shot on several angles. (# 8) Outstriding - Moderate try in first pair, then had the misfortune of drawing a tough field in a straight-maiden event around two turns. Barn did well at Delaware with their two-year-olds. (# 3) Devonesque - Has several races in common with a pair of today's rivals. Last, her first on dirt, was not bad and included a troubled start. (# 6) German School - Ok runs in several turf tries. May be overbet for that reason, and her lone dirt race was very poor. TURF PARADISE Race #TWO (2:55 PM Eastern) (# 8) LIL ANGELINA - Drops down after trying allowance and a stake in her first two races. Excellent work on October 30 indicates that this may be the money run. (# 2) Justgiveitaway - Another who tried allowance condition in career debut. High percentage trainer (Brisson 23%) sends her out off a sharp work. High speed shown in initial run. Key these two on top. (# 1) Sudden - Ability to finish should land filly somewhere in the bottom of exotics. Makes her first start at Turf Paradise after racing at Emerald Downs. (# 4) Sloshed - Ran in the same two races as the top pick. They traded decisions in that pair. Should improve some with the drop into the maiden-claiming ranks. TURF PARADISE Race #FIVE (4:25 PM Eastern) (# ) 8) RAISE THE FEE - Goes turf to dirt for trainer Tony Klenakis and is coming off his two best races ever. Nice post and has some speed to go along with his stalking ability. (# 5) I'll Try - Big race in second off a layoff for trainer Kevin Lewis, who is having another excellent year. Runner appears to be getting good at present. (# 3) King's Fantasy - Turf and Polytrack runner makes his Turf Paradise debut today after spending his whole career in California. Holds no big advantage over these, but if ready for the dirt will be dangerous. (# 7) Finalactofdefiance - Good race at this distance, track, and condition last out. Encouraging run in last on the dirt after five straight on the turf. TURF PARADISE Race #NINE (6:25 PM Eastern) (# 8) DENEALDO - Comes here from Zia Park for a very high-percentage trainer, Jim Hill (29%). Very fast work over this surface on November 2. Bet in all three to date, and can take these all the way. (# 12) Due to Fly - Drops to his lowest tag ever and goes third off a layoff. Ran well in return at Fairplex and had a decent race over this track against better. Very dangerous. (# 2) Explodin'by U - Has been in the money in 6 of 11, and has an up-close running style, which in a large group of cheap maidens is a plus. (# 4) Shiloh Dove - Last pair are encouraging and they came at this price tag over this surface. (# 5) Tote the Bench - Drops off a return run against better at a distance. Holds a bit of a class advantage over some and may do well in here. Horse Racing Picks Resources:
