Belmont Stakes Pick - November 01, 2007

Another solid day at the track yesterday. Some of our wining combinations include an exacta (8-5) win for $13.60 from Aqueduct's first race and a trifecta win from that same race (8-5-2) which paid $36. We also nailed a $30 trifecta with our 7-2-8 combination from Aqueduct's fourth race.

Today we are running with four more Aqueduct selections and analysis.

Today's Best Bet is Optimistic Girl from Aqueduct Race #7 (Grass Only).

Wednesday's Results: Aqueduct Race #1 Exacta 2nd pick with top pick (8-5) Paid $13.60. Trifecta (8-5-2) Paid $36. 

Aqueduct Race #4 Top Pick Winner #7 (Titan of Industry) Paid $5.90. Exacta Top pick with 3rd pick (7-2) Paid $13.60. Trifecta (7-2-8) Paid $30.

Aqueduct Race #6 Original top pick Scratched Exacta 3rd with top (8-7) Paid $26.20.

(#4 ) CP WEST - Freshened up after facing much tougher in last five graded stakes. Cut back to mile helps. Tactical speed to sit a good trip. Sharp work Oct 22.

(# 7) Owner's Manual - Good third Oct. 7 in Grade 3 stake run in very fast time. Versatile colt should sit a good closing trip with pace to close into. Top barn. Good post.

(# 6) Saratoga Lulaby - Ships in from Laurel in razor sharp form. Most effective at today's one-turn flat mile. Top trainer and rider combo.

(#2 ) OPTIMISTIC GIRL (Best Bet) - Makes second start off the Asmussen claim. Closed well in last despite a tough outside post and very wide trip. Blinkers off and great rail slot. Top trainer as well.

(# 1) Survived - Back on grass where she has won both starts. Versatile filly can leave or stalk. Positive rider change to Castro.

(# 4) Cori's Star - Takes hidden drop in class. Very, very sharp barn. Dangerous speed on the stretch out from inside post.

(# 3) BRIBON - Cuts back to a sprint in very sharp form. Figures to sit a good stalking trip sitting behind vulnerable speed.

(# 7) Temecula Creek - Vast improvement last out cutting back to today's six-furlong distance. Rider change to Castellano who forms strong trainer and rider combo.

(# 2) Taint So - Chance to wake up at a price switching from polytrack to dirt. Trainer is 1-for-1 this meet using today's rider Espinoza who rides for the first time.

(# 3) TURKISH VICTORY - Big improvement in last dropping down to today's level. Held well for second after strong middle move into a fast second quarter. Draws perfect inside post.

(# 4) American Cruiser - Back on grass which he clearly prefers. Appears the main speed breaking from good inside post. Switches to Garcia who forms strong trainer and rider combo.

(# 2) Hot Table - Hard usded chasing quick pace while wide all the rail. Winner came back to score on the step up in class. Rail only helps.
