Horse Handicapper - May 06, 2008

We posted a solid day on Monday including  two top winners with two cold exactas for $22.20 and $13.80. We also hit a $60.60 cold trifecta.

Today's Best Bet is: Delaware Park (Race 3) #3 Silverzilla.

NOTE: Today we only like three races for Tuesday, all at Delaware Park.

Today's Horse Racing Picks:

DELAWARE PARK Race #THREE (1:40 PM Eastern)

(# 3) SILVERZILLA - Dangerous Shuman runner takes smart drop to $12,500. Worst two races on wet tracks. Gets dry today. Should stalk the speed from a good inside post. Barn is hot.

(# 7) Miss Caller - Two good races since being given over to Payne and shipping in from New York. Hurt by very slow pace in last. Good rider aboard.

(# 4) Showerstosunshine - Takes a smart drop in class and should improve. Sharpened sprinting in last over mud. Wants a dry track for best. Likes to lay back and make one closing run.

(# 7) HOLA C BRIGHT - Must excuse last start returning from a one-year layoff. Should show more early lick back at two turns and a dry track. Lake always dangerous with speed horses

(# 8) Woody's Apache - I expect him to improve making first start at this level. Has no early speed, but finishes very strong. From very hot barn.

(# 4) Secret Sultan - Uncoupled entry for Lake. Had no shot from outside post in last. Gets main go-to rider and a better post.

(# 4) DANCING FERN - The Ritchey barn has been red hot and this filly can add to his strong record. Has a recent good race over the track. Gets better post today and the right setup.

(# 1) Natures Express - Two solid races off the layoff. Last race was very quick. Hurt that day by a strong outside closers bias.

(# 5) ROYAL DIANA - Faced a good field last out at Keeneland. Cut back in distance can only help. Dangerous speed for an excellant trainer.
