Free Horse Racing Tip - January 17, 2008Today we have a total of four races from Aqueduct and Gulfstream Park for selections and analysis. Today's Best Bet is #3 Sir Cryptomite in Race #2 at Aqueduct. Wednesday's Results: Aqueduct Race #5 Exacta third pick with Best Bet (7-2) paid $14.20.
Aqueduct Race #7 Top Pick Winner #1 (Girl Show) paid $5.10. Today's Horse Racing Picks: (# 2) DYNAMITE JEWEL - Tired in last after chasing the pace from an outside slot. Goes "tagged" for the initial time and trainer Dom Galluscio adds the "hood" today. Filly should offer whatever she has today. (# 4) Deewanee - Goes long for the first time for trainer Tom Bush. Filly also races initially at a tag and gets the addition of blinkers. A lot to like. (# 5) Jabeesh - Wide in latest from a marooned post. Ran second at this level and distance two back, beating a subsequent next-out winner in the process. Dangerous rival. (# 1) Delightful One - Goes second off a layoff and stretches back out for trainer Mike Aro. Not a serious win candidate, but would include her on the bottoms of tris if that is what you play. AQUEDUCT Race #TWO (12:55 PM Eastern) (# 3) SIR CRYPTOMITE - Bid while wide in last, his first race in seven weeks. Comes back in less than three weeks for this and he has a good interim work on Jan. 8. Wire-to-wire threat. (# 2) Alberti - Ran his best ever in latest when sent long in a second off a layoff situation. Any further move forward could land him the top prize. (# 1) Fiddlers Warrior - Late runner has had many chances, but generally makes some headway down the stretch. Can't discount anything that Contessa/Dominguez bring to the table. Gets the rail and that will certainly aid his cause. (# 4) Bumble - Has improved ever so slightly in his three outings. Had a very-poor start in latest and he still ran on well. Could hit the exotics at a good price. GULFSTREAM PARK Race #TWO (1:40 PM Eastern) (# 6) BEST BIG BAND - Allen Jerkens trained-colt won an off-the-turf race at this distance in handy fashion on Jan. 5th. That followed a good try at Calder in a two-turn mile race. the "chief" lokke to run them when they';re fit so he sends him out in a nice spot against mostly litely-raced foes. (# 8) El Profeta - Fields only four time winner looks for his fourth in a row for trainer Juan Arias. Given some time off since dusting allowance foes on the Calder Grass, versatile runner draws a good post for whatever they choose. (# 2) Hadrian's Image - Has had over two months since his initial winning race. Working well for this attempt, he attracts Prado and think he'll be sent hard from the gate to try and clear. (# 3) Know the Game - Colt from the Calabrese/Catalano barn has been freshened since late November at Hawthorne. Like most of the trainer's stock this one is training fast for the return engagement. Stalker may get a very snug trip. AQUEDUCT Race #FIVE (2:20 PM Eastern) (# 9) QUEEN OF BABYLON - Claimed for $40K at Monmouth by Bruce Levine, and it was his money, as he's the listed owner. Ran once for him and now returns off a two-month rest for $20,000. Flashed big speed in both outings. Wire-to-wire threat. (# 4) Ivory Star - Well-bred filly has a series of of good works leading up to this, her first race since mid-September. Has some speed, and if you forgive her last before the break she has hit the board every time she's run for a tag. (# 8) Premont - Sharp work on Jan. 13 for this five-year-old mare. Will probably make a run for the top and try and clear. Could get cooked on both sides. (# 6) Taintedlove - Held her position well in last without losing any ground and that could lead to her hitting the exotics bottom at a good price. Horse Racing Picks Resources:
