Today's Horse Racing Picks:

AQUEDUCT Race #TWO (12:55 PM Eastern)

(# 4) SOUNDS TACKY - Plugs along and has been getting better of late. Trainer (Scott Schwartz) usually races his horses into shape and this runner fits that scenario. He's found the right tag and distance to be competitive.
(# 7) Phil Cat - Contessa/Dominguez runner has improved in his last pair and he should run well again. Probably will try and be involved from the start. Was beaten by the top pick with no visible excuse.
(# 3) Fiddlers Fever - Poor starts in his last pair have contributed to him not running better. Isn't that far off the top two contenders, but an alert start is a must as is finishing a bit stronger.
(# 2) Beequeone - Enough shown in his last pair of sprints at this tag that he may be able to hit the board at a square price. He tries a distance for the first time.

AQUEDUCT Race #FOUR (1:50 PM Eastern)
(# 4) AUTAUGA - Last was very encouraging. Stalked the pace, had himself in a winning position but couldn't pull the trigger. Contessa/Dominguez runner is sitting on his maiden win. Needs a clean and clear trip.
(# 1) Tellitto'em - Woodbine invader has some races in his recent past that put him in the win mix. He tailed off considerably in his last three efforts and made his way here. Makes his first start for trainer Greg DiPrima and he is a fine 29% with his new stock.
(# 6) Come with the Wind - Appears to be coming around and his last pair when dropped to this tag have been good. Top pick beat him by a little over two lengths last out.
(# 3) Hello Newman - Has some ability and in this third off a long layoff situation he should show whatever he has for trainer John Parisella.

AQUEDUCT Race #SIX (2:50 PM Eastern)
(# 4) AMERICAN QUEEN - Makes her third start for the Asmussen barn and she has shown speed in her first pair. Heavy bump at the start in last or she may have done much better. Wire-to-wire threat.
(# 7) Mlle Ballerina - Poor break cost her any chance at running better in latest and she still finished a close third. Daughter of "Posse" is a win contender with a clean break.
(# 2) Rhapsody Queen - Firster by "Unbridled's Song" has a sharp gate work on Dec. 28 for her debut. Tom Bush barn isn't known for first-out success, but they can win with them.
(# 5) Chita Girl - Appears to be coming around to a point where she can be competitive against this type. She's working very well since her last race and finished on the fringe in that one. Contessa at a price.

AQUEDUCT Race #EIGHT (3:45 PM Eastern)
(# 3) TICKET TO SEATTLE - One of a pair from trainer Steve Klesaris and she comes in fresh and battle tested having run in a series of six consecutive stakes. She's plenty fast but has also run well while in the stalking position. Working well at the Fair Hill Training Center in Maryland.
(# 6) Dani Tom Boy - Impressive in the maiden breaker on Dec. 2. Showed talent last winter at Gulfstream without winning. Had the benefit of the rail in her maiden win. Think the top pick is quicker.
(# 7) Ghost Dancing - Hasn't seen action since late April when she had her second impressive win in a row. Works are light, but it's Mr.Contessa calling the shots. Tough race to come back to after the layoff.
(# 2) Dicey Girl - If the speed is contentious and fast this other Steve Klesaris filly would benefit the most and have a chance at doing some damage late.
