*Wunderdog Special 40% Deposit Bonus at Diamond* Today's Horse Racing Picks: (# 2) DRIZZILY - Late-rallying type gets to go two turns and comes back to his favorite for this, his first start for trainer Tony Dutrow. If all go that are entered the pace should be a bit crowded and that will help out this runner. (# 1) Optimistic Steve - Another runner who is a consistent closer and at one time had a lot more quality to him. May turn into who can out kick the other (# 7) Stopbluffing - Has put together several good races in a row at this track and distance. Has a close-up tracking style and that may do him well as he'll need to get a jump on the top pair and then hold them off. (# 4) Heathrow - Goes second off a very long layoff for the Contessa barn. Has only had a single sprint five days ago to set him up for this distance attempt. GULFSTREAM PARK Race #ONE (1:15 PM Eastern) (# 5) WHO FU - Freshened up for almost two months by trainer Bill Mott. Ran well in last pair losing a nose decision at Monmouth, then running third at Aqueduct in a race where the second finisher, "Wild Garden," came back to win impressively. Choice for the win. (# 2) Mama Got Even - One of a pair from Nick Zito and they will race uncoupled. Firster by "Stephen Got Even" has been in steady training, and her last pair of works indicate that she's on edge. (# 4)Fusaichi Spirit - The second of the Zito pair, this mare is five-years-old and has only four lifetime starts. Sharp work on Dec. 30 is noted. (# 1) Discerning - Poor break cost her any chance of running well in latest. She comes back very quickly for trainer Allen Jerkens. May outrun the expected long odds. AQUEDUCT Race #FOUR (1:55 PM Eastern) (# 6) GULLIBLE GAL - Filly makes her first start for Tony Dutrow after having started her career with Bill Mott. Blinkers go on and she may get a good stalking trip and a swift pace to rally into. (# 2) Sweet Bama Breeze - Logical selection has finished second in three of four tries. Speedy filly hails from the Linda Rice barn and she could prove very difficult to catch. (# 7) Sweet Madness - Trainer Tom Bush adds blinkers to filly who raced fairly well on a sloppy track in her debut. (# 5) Count This Senora - Robert Perez home-bred ran well in the slop at long odds in her debut. Chased the pace and hung on for third. May move forward in start number two. GULFSTREAM PARK Race #SIX (3:25 PM Eastern) (# 1) PACE CAR - Had a very poor post in his debut run (12), and that was his only turf experience. Stayed on well from the rail in a two-turn dirt race at Churchill when he was dropped in for a tag. Goes back to the grass and draws the hedge. Mr. Prado's presence is duly noted. (# 3) Raise the Rate - Showed some speed in his only start - a dirt sprint at Calder with a very small field. Goes to the grass and tries a distance, both positive moves for trainer Steve Dwoskin. Mr. Coa takes over today. (# 4) Spot Me Five - Has a good foundation of three sprints for the stretch-out in distance and the surface switch. Colt has run well in all three dirt races and may enjoy the new changes. (# 10) Personal Ties - Goes first off a claim by Peter Walder from Bill White. Colt ran well the only tme he got to perform on the grass. New trainer adds blinkers and names Eddie Castro. Good shot at a square price. GULFSTREAM PARK Race #EIGHT (4:30 PM Eastern) (# 6) THE CAT'S AFFAIR - Filly is highly regarded by trainer Barclay Tagg as he ran her in a stakes last out while still a maiden, something the conservative conditioner doesn't normally do. She ran well in her debut before the added money try sprinting and finishing close-up on the Belmont lawn. Back in with maidens and trainer reaches out to Coa. Great shot at the maiden win. (# 2) Spring Mambo - Has a pair of decent turf races back in the late summer. Has had a little over two months off since her last run and is working extremely well at the Palm Meadows training center. (# 5) Big Sink Star - Mott-trained filly ran well in a two-turn try on the Aqueduct lawn. She's had 11 weeks since her last race and should come back bigger and better. Johnny V. is enlisted today. (# 3) Smart Samantha - Sharp Canadian trainer Reade Baker sends out this daughter of "Smart Strike" who showed at Woodbine that she can handle the grass. Horse Racing Picks Resources:
