Friday's Results: Turfway Park Race #1 Exacta 2nd Pick with Best Bet (5-8) Paid $52.80. Today's Horse Racing Picks: (# 7) LASER - Gets a huge trainer change today. Big improvement expected back on grass and first career start in a claimer. More early kick expected with new speed rider Castro aboard. (# 6) River Of Dreams - Returns in a good spot switching back to grass. Lone win over this course. Should sit a good trip. (# 3) Timeless Sands - Change of tactics in last. Chased from the start. Figures to return to rating tactics back on the lawn. Draws a good post. FAIR GROUNDS Race #TWO (2:00 PM Eastern) (# 6) VIVACI - Vastly improved last three starts off the Amoss claim. Hurt by very wide trip in last. Nearly overcame rough trip two back in fast race. Takes smart drop to $20,000. Switches to main go to rider Albarado. (# 8) Rallywithclass - Makes first start for the red-hot Autrey who is great off the claim. Finished full of run in last despite racing very, very wide in the stretch. Drops in class off the purchase which is a positive angle for this barn. Likes to make a late run from far back. (# 11) War Wolf - Has every right to improve in this spot off the drop. Versatile runner can make a late run or stalk. Top trainer Asmussen saddles while reunited with Bridgmohan. FAIR GROUNDS Race #SEVEN (4:25 PM Eastern) (# 2) BLITZING - Freshened up after an impressive win in last. Bumped at the gate then wide all the way. Two-year-old filly has plenty of upside and a great trainer to boot. (# 3) Syriana's Song - Continues to show steady improvement. Fourth to top pick two back, but would have been closer with a cleaner trip. Tactical speed for hot barn. (# 5) High Surf - Uncoupled mate of second pick, has run two good races in her career. Cuts back in distance which should only help. Has good speed. (# 8) Call The Posse - Ships in from Woodbine in sharp and improving form. Has the pedigree to continue to progress. Makes first start on conventional dirt track. HAWTHORNE Race #SIX (5:00 PM Eastern) (# 3) RUSTY BUCKET - Gets a monumental trainer change to Catalano off the private purchase for his main client Calabrese. Comes off a solid second in career debut in fast time. Should win this race for fun! (# 8) Comelateleavearly - Good third in an improved effort Dec. 5 off a layoff. Enjoyed switch to dirt from polytrack and the Hawthorne racing surface. (# 2) Sevnthiningstretch - Solid third in debut forcing a pressured fast pace from the start. Was bet down to the favorite that day (# 4) El Real Madrid - Closed well for fourth in well-bet debut despite racing "green." Big rider change and adds Lasix for the first time. Quick pace should help his late rally. HAWTHORNE Race #SEVEN (5:30 PM Eastern) (# 4) TWINPOST - Has been a gem of consistency throughout her career. Easy win in last off the claim. Overcame tough trip early on that day. Loves this track and distance. Gets a positive rider change. (# 5) One Perfect Day - Improved effort in last dropping to this level for the first time. Likes to make a run and should get enough pace to close. Two-of-three wins over this course. (# 8) Ally's Golden Smile - Like top choice, she scored in last off the claim at this level.
