Has tactical speed to be in perfect position from the start. Strong connections. 2nd pick: #8 (Wifey) - Takes smart drop back to $5,000. Likes this track and distance. Will be gunned to the lead from outside post and try to get the lead early. 3rd pick: #6 (Forensic Edge) - Very dangerous dropping to this level for the first time. Should sit a good stalking trip. In light. SARATOGA Race #3 at 2:00 PM Eastern Top pick: #4 (CORONATION DAY) - Makes debut on grass for a very hot trainer. Bred very well to love this surface and to have speed. Except for the second selection, none of those who have run and the other firsters are not as interesting. Will be a price. 2nd pick: #2 (Seeking Eldorado) - $120,000 two-year-old purchase is bred for speed. Shows three solid turf works for a barn who has been red hot with grass sprinters. 3rd pick: #10 (Saratoga Steve) - Must draw in from the AE's. Big improvement in last in grass debut. Held well after showing good speed all the way. 4th pick: #7 (Hangingonthefuture) - Makes debut with a good grass pedigree on both sire and dam side. Gets a top rider for a barn who can win at a big price. SARATOGA Race #7 at 4:20 PM Eastern Top pick: #7 (DRESSED TO WIN) - Back on grass after facing tougher than what she meets today. Trainer Linda Rice has been on fire this meet, especially with her grass sprinters. 2nd pick: #5 (My Anna Rose) - Could impove alot today at a big price. Back on grass and drops in class, both which will help. 3rd pick: #1 (Dose Of Reality) - Will be the speed from the inside dropping in class today. Back on grass which she prefers. 4th pick: #2 (Smartgabrielle) - Must draw in from the AE's, but if she does, she will be very dangerous. Makes first start at this reduced level. SARATOGA Race #9 at 5:30 PM Eastern Top pick: #6 (JUSTWHISTLEDIXIE) - Impressive third place finish in well bet debut. Despite a very wet track, this $425,000 yearling showed good speed all the way in a 12-horse field. Has a series of strong dry-track workouts. 2nd pick: #5 (Atalaya) - Pletcher first timer cost $275,000 as a yearling. Bred for speed and stamina. Gets the hot riding Dominquez. 3rd pick: #7 (You Can Dream) - $230,000 two-year-old purchase runs for the always dangerous Baffert barn, who has already clicked with a couple of first timers this meet. 4th pick: #8 (Clear Cut) - Ships in from Kentucky off a good third place finish in well bet debut.
