Today's Horse Racing Picks: Top pick: #1 (DEFREREST OF ALL) - Dangerous speed stretching out to two turns. Not much early lick in here which only helps his chances as well as post 1. 2nd pick: #3 (Triple E) - Much improved form last two starts over a dry track. Hurt by a troubled start. Has the speed and Bravo to sit a perfect stalking trip. 3rd pick: #2 (Twisted Heart) - Has the most experience going two turns. Best form over this track. Inside post only helps. SARATOGA Race #3 at 2:05 PM Eastern Top pick: #7 (SWEET SLAM) - Was best in last. Slammed leaving gate losing all chance. Still managed to close stoutly. Strong second two back. 2nd pick: #3 (Fanfire) - Back on grass, which she prefers. Dangerous tactical speed stretching out in distance from good inside post. Barn has two wins the last three days here. 3rd pick: #2 (Gift Of Giving) - Hot barn has a horse who should sit a good trip from her inside post. Has handled wet turf well in the past. SARATOGA Race #8 at 4:55 PM Eastern Top pick: #7 (DANCING FOREVER) - Has shown steady improvement in recent starts. Runs well everytime rider Douglas is aboard. Has won over this course and distance. 2nd pick: #2 (Grand Couturier) - Best form has been over this course. Strong win in this same stake last year. 3rd pick: #6 (Better Talk Now) - Nine-year-old still has his strong late kick. Dangerous today in third start off a layoff. Distance suits well. DEL MAR Race #1 at 7:05 PM Eastern Top pick: #5 (RHODINE'S KID) - Well spotted at this NW, two-life condition after a strong maiden win at today's distance. Can go to the lead or sit right off the pace. 2nd pick: #3 (Saxophone) - Big improvement in last switching to Del Mar and dropping to this level. Snatched second after a very wide trip. 3rd pick: #2 (Go Flags Bro) - Fits very well here taking smart drop to this level. Good tactical speed. 4th pick: #1 (Moicano) - Returns off layoff for new connections. Adds blinkers taking a smart drop. DEL MAR Race #8 (DEL MAR OAK'S) at 8:40 PM Eastern Top pick: #8 (SATAN'S CIRCUS) - Trainer change to top grass barn of Clement. Strong second July 5, in Grade 1 stake in US debut with lasix added. Gets a big rider change to Gomez. Cut back in distance only helps. 2nd pick: #1 (Storm Mesa) - Monumental improvement since breaking maiden back in March for high-percentage trainer. Overcame tough trip in last, in first start at Del Mar. Tactical speed from good inside post. 3rd pick: #4 (Oceane Music) - Makes US debut off a private purchase by sharp connections. Three-for-three lifetime. First time lasix. 4th pick: #7 (Misty Ocean) - Strong third in last setting pressured fast pace from tough outside post. From a very high-percentage trainer.
