Wow. I have never seen anything like this. Over the past two days we've seen monster favorites go down like never before. Dallas at -165, Carolina at -181, Detroit at -250, Ottawa at -263 and Calgary at -170. Two home #1 seeds lost to #8 seeds yesterday! Will the craziness continue? Maybe but not likely.

After the 3-0 start to the playoffs, we've gotten hammered the past two days as the plays have been on the favorites. One pick tonight - on another favorite - as I don't expect the wild upsets to continue.

The Sabres pulled out a tough overtime victory on Saturday. Buffalo got nearly a 2-to-1 advantage on shots on goal in that game. They are now 8-2 this month and they know how to keep hot streaks going as they are 17-5 this season after winning 3 straight. Philadelphia fell to 7-16 vs. winning teams since mid-season. Buffalo's defense and goaltending has been stellar of late and I like the see that at this time of year. They held Philadelphia to just 2 goals and they have allowed just seven goals total in their last seven games! Sabres again here.
