Game: Chicago at Columbus (7:05 PM Eastern) Pick: 2 stars on Columbus -186
Columbus has nothing to play for here, right? Wrong. With two more points, they achieve 71 and set a franchise record. Chicago on the other hand has absolutely nothing to play for. They packed it in weeks ago and have won just once in their last seven tries. THeir offense is completely missing as they've averaged 2.3 goals per game over that stretch. The matchup, of course, favors Columbus. They are 10-3 vs. poor defensive teams alloweing 2.85+ goals per game in the second half of the season and 10-5 at home vs. team allowing 29.5+ shots on goal. And, underdogs that have dropped 6 or 7 of their last 8 games in April are just 13-38 (25%) over the last 5 seasons. Jackets here.
Game: Phoenix at Nashville (8:05 PM Eastern) Pick: 2 stars on Nashville -191
Phoenix pulled off a victory on Friday vs. LA but they loss five straight before that giving up 5+ goals three times. Nashville is showing why they are going to the playoffs having won four straight, holding opponents to 3 total goals over those four games. Doesn't seem like they are missing goaltender Tomas Vokoun much. Nashville is now 22-5 at home off a home win over the last three seasons and 13-1 this year at home after a win by 2+ goals. They are 14-1 this season at home vs. poor defensive teams like Phoenix (those that average 29.5+ shots on goal per game). Nashville averaged 3.4 goals per game at home while Phoenix gives up 3.3 per game. Predators here.
Game: Colorado at Vancouver (10:05 PM Eastern) Pick: 2 stars on Vancouver -106
Vancouver has been eliminated from playoff contention while Colorado looks to improve upon their seventh place standing in the West. These teams still hate each other and Vancouver will be playing hard here to hurt Colorado. It's the closest thing they have to a big game the rest of the short season. Vancouver won 4-3 at Colorado back on January 28th and the Avs are now just 9-16 revenging a loss this season. Colorado's high-powered offense has taken a hiatus of late as they are averaging just 2.6 goals per game over their last five vs. 3.5 per game average on the season. Vancouver here.

| How
much to bet? I recommend 1% of your bankroll for every
star. A one-star pick = 1% of bankroll. A five-star pick
= 5% of bankroll. It is strongly recommended that
you never bet more than 5% of your bankroll on any given
game! Remember, there are no such thing as locks.
Never bet over your head and you'll live to see another
day. Approach your bets as an investment that grows steadily
over the long-term. For more, see
