Yes, I know this is a very large line. But, I'm laying it anyway. I just can't resist as Dallas wins this game 9 out of 10 times. The Stars are 24-7 vs. Chicago over the past ten years and 6-0-1 over the past three. In games in Dallas, they are 13-4 and 3-0 respectively. Chicago, 9-25 on the road, is allowing 4 goals per game away from home. Their scoring has been mediocre at best this season and has only gotten worse of late. Chicago finds ways to win games by blowout or close call. Their last three losses have each come by one goal. Dallas meanwhile scores 3.3 per game and over their last five games, they've bumped that up a notch while holding opponents to 2 goals per game. Big road underdogs of +200 or higher that have been outscored by their opponents by 0.3+ goals/game have won just 1 game out of 26 over the past decade if they are coming off 2 straight close losses by 1 goal. Chicago is terrible off closes losses as a whole (1-18 the last three years off a 1 goal loss). Dallas has won 8 of 10 and they make it 9 of 11 in easy fashion here.
