**ST. LOUIS -124 over Columbus (7:35 Eastern)
Two of the worst teams in the league meet here but both have been respectable of late. Columbus has won three of four and St. Louis has seven of eleven and have been giant killers. They've recently slain Vancouver at +210, +250 and +310, Calgary at +180, Dallas at +250, and Edmonton at +250 and +240. Can they handle the Blue Jackets? Yeah. The last time the Blues found themselves favored was December 13th over Pittsburgh - a game they won. St. Louis is 4-1 against Columbus in games played here over the past three years. They've been playing good defense of late which spells trouble for the Jackets. Columbus is scoring 2.3 per game on the road this season. Two stars on the Blues.
***DALLAS -179 over Vancouver (8:35 Eastern)
Dallas has won four of five while Vancouver has lost four of five. They've won five of the last seven in this matchup including the last three straight played here in Dallas. In both games played in 2006, Vancouver could manage just one goal per game against the Stars. Vancouver's offense has gone into hiding. They are scoring 2 goals per game over their last five while allowing 3.2. Dallas is winning on average by a score of 3.6 to 2.0. Three stars on the Stars.
**SAN JOSE -158 over Los Angeles (10:35 Eastern)
LA has won six of seven games. But, they are doing it by the skin of their teeth. They've won each of those six games by 1 goal. Their average margin of victory, when we throw in the loss, is just 0.3 goals per game! No domination there. For the standings, a win is a win. But, we need to take into account the quality of wins for our handicapping. Over their last nine games, San Jose is 6-3. But, their average margin of victory including their losses is 1.1 goals per game. Much more dominating. San Jose is on a role after winning their last couple of games and they are 17-5 after scoring 3+ goals in two straight games this season. San Jose here for two stars.

| How
much to bet? I recommend 1% of your bankroll for every
star. A one-star pick = 1% of bankroll. A five-star pick
= 5% of bankroll. It is strongly recommended that
you never bet more than 5% of your bankroll on any given
game! Remember, there are no such thing as locks.
Never bet over your head and you'll live to see another
day. Approach your bets as an investment that grows steadily
over the long-term. For more, see
