Chicago has lost four of six as they've been hurt by the absence of Nikolai Khabibulin. He'll be back tonight but will he be 100% or rusty? One thing is for sure. Chicago has got to be a bit winded. They are playing their third game in five days and home underdogs during March in that situation are just 31-90 (26%) over the past five seasons. Also home dogs of +100 to +200 coming off a road win are only 10-38 (20%) in March games since 1996. Chicago is a paltry 11-18 at home this season where they give up 3 goals per game. Colorado can score in bunches and should get enough here to win. Three stars on the Avalanche.
