darrell,
1-0 last night and 33-16 since the start of the year. Three picks tonight including a couple big ones. Last time we had a 4 and 5-star pick on the same night, we hit them both. Hopefully we get the same tonight.
Keep your head up and stick on the ice, darrell!

*New Jersey -130 over BOSTON (9:05 Eastern)
New Jersey has struggled a bit recently on the road but overall they are playing great hockey, posting a 13-4 record since the midway point in the season. NJ has scored 3.4 per game over their last five games. Road favorites who beat this opponent in a close game last time out are 29-4 (88%) in the second half of the season over the past five seasons if the opponent is at 40%-49%. One star on the Devils.
*****BUFFALO -190 over Montreal (9:05 Eastern)
Buffalo is hot having won six straight. Buffalo has taken the last three games this year and own a 4-1 record here in Buffalo over the past three years and 33-15-3 record overall in this matchup since 1996. Montreal is losing by nearly 1 goal per game on the road this season while Buffalo is winning by over one goal at home. Over their past five games, Buffalo is winning by 2.2 goals on average. Since the midway point, Buffalo is 8-1 vs. high-scoring teams that score 2.85+ goals per game. And, the Sabres are 12-3 as a big home favorite (-190 or more) this seasons. Five stars on Buffalo.
****Detroit -120 over NASHVILLE (9:05 Eastern)
Not often we get Detroit at -120. As you know if you've been getting my picks all season, I love Detroit as an underdog or small favorite - they are money. And tonight they are looking to continue their revenge for a 2-game sweep by the Predators in late January. Since then, Detroit has been playing great and Nashville terrible. Last night, Detroit clobbered Nashville 6-0. But they aren't done. Tonight is a perfect situation for Detroit to pounce on the wounded Predators again. Detroit is scoring 3.8 per game and allowing 2.5 on the road this season. In division games, they are winning by an average score of 3.9 to 1.6, on way to a 16-3 record! And, we are only laying -120 on that. Sure, Nashvilel is good but they are not as good as the Red Wings. And, they are playing poorly. Four stars on Detroit.

| How
much to bet? I recommend 1% of your bankroll for every
star. A one-star pick = 1% of bankroll. A five-star pick
= 5% of bankroll. It is strongly recommended that
you never bet more than 5% of your bankroll on any given
game! Remember, there are no such thing as locks.
Never bet over your head and you'll live to see another
day. Approach your bets as an investment that grows steadily
over the long-term. For more, see
