Game: Utah at San Antonio (8:35 PM Eastern)

Utah has missed the playoffs again. However, this does not mean the team quits as they have yet to quit all season including finishing out the season on a 5-1 run. This given the Spurs have struggled of late and in particular at home as they are one of the worst covers at home in the league. After all, of late the Spurs have had a tough time as out of their last 7 home games, they've lost 3 SU (the total lost by the Pistons at home all year) to the Magic, Kings and Mavericks and failed to cover against Washington, Seattle and Memphis as well. Furthermore, the Spurs are 0-6-1 ATS in their last 7 home games validating the previous statement and the Jazz are 4-1 following a SU loss. Sure, the Spurs should will probably win this game. However, getting the Utah Jazz, Jerry Sloan and the competitiveness of this team as they look for buidling blocks for next year, it is a huge momentum booster to finish out the season above .500 (they sit at 40-40 right now) as this team was riddled with injuries including missing one of their top 3 players nearly at all points of the year - as Boozer, Okur and Kirilenko was out during extended periods of the year. Let's ride the Jazz here as they look to play strong to make a statement for next year. We've got double home revenge against the Spurs as well which should make for a tighter game as well.
