***S. Carolina/Kentucky OVER 130.5 (1:00 Eastern)
Both of these teams like to score first and play defense second in situations like this. As an underdog, S. Carolina is 13-4 OVER the last two seasons and they've gone OVER the total 15 out of 21 times in conference games over that same period. In tournament games, Kentucky is 30-15 OVER during the past decade. South Carolina is 8-0 OVER when playing teams that shoot well (45%+ FG) over the last two seasons. OK, now let's look at prior matchups between these two ballclubs. The two meetings this year both went over. In the first one, 158 points were scored to sail over the 125 posted total. In the second game, 145 points were scored to go over the 133 total. Yet, today we see an even lower total! Were those two games flukes? Me thinks not. 11 of the last 13 games in this matchup have gone OVER including all of the last 7! OVER here for three stars.
**Texas -7.5 over Texas A&M (2:00 Eastern)
Texas has been on and off lately trading ATS wins and losses their last five games. They are due for a win here if that pattern continues. Texas is in fact 9-2 ATS this season following an ATS loss which includes a perfect 6-0 if they won that game outright as a favorite as they did yesterday. A&M has been on quite a roll, winning eight straight and covering five straight. While we have been banking big time late in the season fading big public favorites, I believe there is actually value on the Longhorns here due to the Aggie's recent success and Texas' mediocre ATS performance. And, Texas won't be taking their opponent lightly here. They watched UCONN get beat by Syracuse the other day and want to make a statement here that they can still win big late in the season. And, they are looking for revenge for a 3-point loss to the Aggies on March 1st. Texas wants this one and I'm backing them minus the points for two stars.
**Pacific -6.5 over Long Beach State (11:59 Eastern)
Pacific has won 12 of their last 13 games to earn their way to the Big West Conference Championship game. They've posted a 23-7 record and have shown they can cover as a favorite. They are 9-2 ATS this season as a favorite of 9 or less points as they are in this one. Long Beach State has had a good season but the difference between these two teams is style. LBS has won in shootouts. They try to simply outscore their opponents while playing no defense. They've averaged 83.7 PPG while giving up 79.5 per game. On the road, they scored 87.1 while allowing 87.0. Meanwhile, Pacific plays great defense. They scored 74.1 per game but held opponents to 63 per game. Their defense has only gotten better late in the season as they've held their last five opponents to 52.6 per game. I harken back to the old adage, "Defense wins championships." Take Pacific here minus the number for two stars.

| How
much to bet? I recommend 1% of your bankroll for every
star. A one-star pick = 1% of bankroll. A five-star pick
= 5% of bankroll. It is strongly recommended that
you never bet more than 5% of your bankroll on any given
game! Remember, there are no such thing as locks.
Never bet over your head and you'll live to see another
day. Approach your bets as an investment that grows steadily
over the long-term. For more, see
