**ATLANTA
-196 over Colorado (7:35 Eastern)
The
Braves can clinch the NL East with a win and a Philadelphia
loss. They look to Horacio Ramirez who is 8-1 with
a 3.17 ERA at home this season. Countering for Colorado
is yet another rookie. While Colorado bats have been
hot recently and Atlanta's offense stagnant, don't
think it's
enough to overcome the fact that Colorado scores
3.5 per game on the road while Atlanta puts up 5.1
runs per game
at home. Oh yeah, Colorado is 2-17 this season on
the road vs. left-handed starters and home favorites
of -200 or more at 54%-62% on the season off
3 or more consecutive winsare 104-23 (82%) over the
last 5 seasons vs. losing teams. Two stars on the
Braves.
**NY
Yankees -232 over BALTIMORE (8:05 Eastern)
Baltimore
players were quoted this weekend as not
being able to wait for this season to end. Their eight-game
losing streak backs that up. New York needs this
game and the Baltimore clubhouse has been
rocked by the Palmeiro soap opera. The Big Unit takes
the hill here, and this is exactly when he seems to
thrive, and exactly why the Yankees acquired him in
the offseason. As stated several times the past week,
this the Yankees time and a must win game. Over their
past seven games, the Yankees are outscoring the
O's by a full 2 runs per game. Two stars on the Yankees
in this must-win game.

How
much to bet? I recommend 1% of your bankroll for every
star. A one-star pick = 1% of bankroll. A five-star pick
= 5% of bankroll. It is strongly recommended that
you never bet more than 5% of your bankroll on any given
game! Remember, there are no such thing as locks.
Never bet over your head and you'll live to see another
day. Approach your bets as an investment that grows steadily
over the long-term. For more, see
my write-up on Bankroll
Management.
