*BOSTON
-151 over LA Anaheim (7:05 Eastern)
Boston
looks for the sweep tonight and we think they'll
get it with the hot Matt Clement taking the mound.
Clement has posted a 2.70 ERA in his last three
starts. When pitching vs. Anaheim, he's got a
2.00 ERA while Boston has gone 3-1. The Angels
are managing just 3.1 per game over their last
seven which won't be enough against a Red Sox
club putting up over 6 per game at home. Over
the last three seasons in late-season play,
the Angels are just 3-16 vs.
AL opponenets that score 5.7 or more runs/game.
Very good offensive
teams that score >5.7 runs/game facing good
starting pitchers with ERAs under 4.20 are 59-23
(72%)
in September games since 1997. One star on Boston.

How
much to bet? I recommend 1% of your bankroll for every
star. A one-star pick = 1% of bankroll. A five-star pick
= 5% of bankroll. It is strongly recommended that
you never bet more than 5% of your bankroll on any given
game! Remember, there are no such thing as locks.
Never bet over your head and you'll live to see another
day. Approach your bets as an investment that grows steadily
over the long-term. For more, see
my write-up on Bankroll
Management.
