**MILWAUKEE
-137 over Atlanta (8:05 Eastern)
Ben
Sheets gets the call tonight vs. Atlanta. In his
last outing vs. the Braves, he struck out 18 batters
- a career high. He's been great at home, posting
a 2.64 ERA and 0.943 WHIP. In eight games he's averaged
7.2 innings per start and given up just 17 total
earned runs. Backing him up is a very good bullpen
(3.49 home ERA). Atlanta, averaging 4.3 runs per
game on the road and 3.9 per game over their last
seven, will really struggle to score tonight. Atlanta
counters with Horacio Ramirez who doesn't do well
on the road. He's got a 5.87 road ERA this season
and over the past two years, he is just 5-15 in road
games. Two stars on Sheets and the Brew Crew.
**SAN
DIEGO -190 over Colorado (10:05 Eastern)
Wow!
Colorado has won two straight on the road.
Can the madness continue? I'm thinking not.
Jeff Francis gets the call for Colorado. In
his last three starts he's posted a 12.47 ERA
and 0-2 record. San Diego is 6-2 vs. the Rockies
this season and starts Adam Eaton in his first
game back from his injury. This year he's got
a 2.35 home ERA and perfect 6-0 record. I won't
go through the littany of stats again regarding
how bad the Rockies are on the road. Let's
just suffice to say that despite their last
two wins, they are awful away from Coors Field.
Has something drastic changed such that we
should be backing Colorado on the road? No.
They simply squeaked out two wins by one
run
each. We back the Padres here for two stars.

How
much to bet? I recommend 1% of your bankroll for every
star. A one-star pick = 1% of bankroll. A five-star pick
= 5% of bankroll. It is strongly recommended that
you never bet more than 5% of your bankroll on any given
game! Remember, there are no such thing as locks.
Never bet over your head and you'll live to see another
day. Approach your bets as an investment that grows steadily
over the long-term. For more, see
my write-up on Bankroll
Management.
