Detroit at Montreal

Detroit can clinch a playoff spot with a win and a Washington loss, which is surprising given the Wings' 7-15 record over the past six weeks. Down 4-1 in the second period last night, Detroit came back to defeat Montreal 5-4 in overtime, but now they travel northeast to the Bell Centre for the second-half of this home-and-home. Detroit will turn to James Reimer in net and he is 10-8-2 with a 3.07 goals-against average this season, allowing four goals on 36 shots in his last appearance, Saturday against Toronto. Cayden Primeau is likely for the Canadiens with a 2.95 goals-against average this season. Montreal is 52-29 on the puckline and it has won four in a row at home versus teams with losing road records.
