Pittsburgh Steelers NFL Picks, Predictions vs. the Spread

The Pittsburgh Steelers are one of the most storied franchises in the NFL and one of the most popular teams in the league. A few years ago, after not being able to seal the deal in the playoffs, the Steelers went out and drafted quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. Even though he wasn’t your typical quarterback and looked more like a linebacker than a QB, Big Ben quickly became one of the best quarterbacks in this league and already had the Super Bowl ring to prove it!

Over the past half decade or so, the Pittsburgh Steelers have been one of the best teams in the NFL and favored in most NFL picks.

A couple of years ago, Big Ben put another accomplishment to his legacy in Pittsburgh by winning a second Super Bowl title as the face of the franchise and the Steelers looked like they would be relevant for the foreseeable future.

Unfortunately, last season’s title defense was a disaster as the Steelers struggled all season long and weren’t even able to make the playoffs to try and defend their Super Bowl title.

In the offseason, things have gotten even tougher for the Steelers as they have dealt with a lot of off the field issues involving Ben Roethlisberger. Not only was Big Ben in the news on weekly basis, but the Steelers also decided to trade away arguably their best wide receiver in Santonio Holmes to the New York Jets.

Now the team will try and get things back to get and reclaim their championship form by dominating the AFC once again.
