Covering a “12″ with your college basketball picks
Covering a “12″ with your college basketball picksĀ
In college basketball, we have lots of key numbers. It seems as if every single number is a key one up to 10. But that neglects one of the most important numbers. In college basketball betting it is hard to cover a 12 with your college basketball picks. So why is this the case? It is because 12 sits just after 10. If a team is down by 11 points, they are unlikely to foul and try to get back in the game. If they are down by 7, they will foul. But when they get down by more than double digits, many teams are content to just dribble it out.
On top of this, there is a psychological barrier that happens when the score reaches 15. Teams that go up by 15 often take it easy, even if they don’t mean to. When this happens, a team is just one shot away from being back to the 12-point margin. If you are going to be on favorites, then you need to be very careful of the 12. Even worse is 12.5, where that hook can certainly come up to bite you.
