Placing faith in somebody else’s acumen over my own has always been difficult for me. I was a sportscaster for 20 years and have followed most sports avidly throughout my life. At various times I’ve paid for advice and almost always been disappointed. The recommendations often seemed like “shots-in the dark” and were rarely backed up by sound logic.

But this Sunday further galvanized my faith in Wunderdog. Not only did all of his selections prove accurate but also the reasoning behind them was precisely what occurred on the playing field. I like nothing better than wagering and knowing by the third quarter I have very little to worry about. These were SAFE COVERS. I spoke to my bookie –yes, I still have an old-fashioned guy with no web site and just a bunch of telephones –and he told me that 90% of the bets he was booking on the Sunday night game were coming in on Carolina. He wished me well on my Dallas bet and asked me why I liked the Cowboys. I couldn’t bring myself to say that like most of his other bettors I really thought Carolina was in a great position to win the game going away. Instead, I told him it was just a hunch that Dallas as a team was ready to make a statement that backed Parcells decision to dump Bledsole for Romo. In truth, my hunch was that Dog was hot and I was ridin’ him home.
So thanks, Dog. I know I sound like a shill for your services but I’ve become an enormous fan of your insightful thinking… Simeon in Atlanta
