*TORONTO
-135 over Seattle (7:05 Eastern)
Rookie
of the year candidate Gustavo Chacin takes the mound
for Toronto tonight against the Mariners. Over his
past three starts, the left hander has put up a 1.71
ERA and 0.952 WHIP. We've made a bundle lately going
against Seattle on the
road
and we'll do it again tonight. Joel Pineiro goes
for Seattle and he's just 1-3 vs. Toronto and 2-13
as a road underdog of +100 to +150 over the last
2 seasons. Seattle is
just 7-26 as a road underdog of +125 to +175 this
season. One star on the Blue Jays.
***Cleveland
-215 over KANSAS CITY (8:10 Eastern)
Kansas
City won four straight in a sweep of Detroit but
they face an even hotter team here in Cleveland.
The Indians have already taken 10 of 15 vs. KC
this season including 4 of five in Kansas City.
After Boston's debacle last night, Cleveland now
owns the wild card spot in the AL. Cliff Lee goes
for Cleveland and he's 17-4 this season with an
eight game winning streak. Over his last three
starts he's put up a 2.57 ERA while his counterpart,
Runelvys Hernadez has posted a 9.00 ERA over his
last three. The Royals can't hit left hhanders
- scoring just 3.7 per game. Cleveland is scoring
6.6 runs per contest lately, in contrast. Lee is
14-2 this season on the road including 8-0 vs.
losing teams. Favorites of -200 or more having
won 18 or more of their last 25 games are 88-14
(after NY's win last night) in September games
since 1997. Three stars on the Indians here.

How
much to bet? I recommend 1% of your bankroll for every
star. A one-star pick = 1% of bankroll. A five-star pick
= 5% of bankroll. It is strongly recommended that
you never bet more than 5% of your bankroll on any given
game! Remember, there are no such thing as locks.
Never bet over your head and you'll live to see another
day. Approach your bets as an investment that grows steadily
over the long-term. For more, see
my write-up on Bankroll
Management.
