We're gonna ride this train at least one more time here tonight. The Indians have won six straight as their pitching has really picked up. They've allowed just 11 total runs during this streak while Minnesota has been giving up runs in droves lately. Both Carlos Silva and Clifton Lee have pitched very well this season and both are hot right now. Lee is 22-8 as a favorite up to -150 over the past two seasons. Average offensive teams like Cleveland with an excellent bullpen whose ERA is 3.00 or better on the season, facing a very good starter (ERA <3.50) are 57-29 (66%) since 1997. Also, poor AL offensive teams like Minnesota (<4.5 runs/game) with a bullpen that averages less than 2.75 innings per game facing a team with a very good bullpen (ERA <3.33) are 45-94 (33%) over the last 5 seasons. One star on the Indians.
