Astros and White Sox in the World Series? Really? Yeah, they are here and despite some very sketchy stretches for both, they both deserve it based on their postseason performances so far. After nearly missing the playoffs, Chicago swept the World Champions and brought forth amazing starting pitching against the Angels. Houston should guts and grit after losing to St. Louis after being one strike away from making it here.

Somehow Houston continues to get less respect than they deserve. Clemens as an underdog? We'll take it. Sure they are on the road but Clemens has a sick 1.70 ERA on the road this season. Compare that to Contreras' 3.66 home ERA. The Sox are 9-15 as a home favorite of -125 to -150 this season and home teams at -100 to -150 with a very good bullpen whose ERA is 3.33 or better on the season, starting a hot pitcher (ERA less than 3.00 over his last 10 games) are just 22-45 (33%) since 1997.
