**San Diego +230 over ST. LOUIS (4:05 Eastern)
Now that the Cards crushed San Diego in game one, everyone is all ove St. Louis, pushing this line up too high. San Diego showed some moxie in the latter innings, turning a blowout into a closer loss. I think St. Louis is ripe for an upset loss here. They are feeling pretty good after their game one win but they need to be careful here. Mark Mulder goes for the Cards and has shown signs of late-season fading. He's just 2-2 in postseason play and he ended the season horribly, winning just one game in six September starts. With the kind of run support this team brings, that's awful. On the other hand, Pedro Astacio has gotten better late in the season. In September, he's 4-3 with a 1.89 ERA. When he's had 7+ days of rest, Astacio is 15-5. The Pads like the big underdog role. They are an amazing 10-6 as a dog of 150+ this season and over the past three seasons, they have won more games they have lost as huge underdogs of +200 or higher! Road teams hitting .255 to .269 facing a good starting pitcher (ERA <3.70) are 27-16 in October games. I know it may sound crazy but I like the Pads to win this one and we'll back 'em for two stars.

| How
much to bet? I recommend 1% of your bankroll for every
star. A one-star pick = 1% of bankroll. A five-star pick
= 5% of bankroll. It is strongly recommended that
you never bet more than 5% of your bankroll on any given
game! Remember, there are no such thing as locks.
Never bet over your head and you'll live to see another
day. Approach your bets as an investment that grows steadily
over the long-term. For more, see
