#2 GAMBLIN CAPER (ML=9/5)

GAMBLIN CAPER - Have to like the early speed on this one. No one else may even be close. I'll forgive that last performance on Mar 15th when he was beaten as the public choice. That race was pretty good for a $5,000 Claiming race and this gelding's speed figure was solid. After the event aboard this animal on March 15th, the rider is going to know the gelding much better. The 74 recent race speed rating looks strong in black and white. A horse coming back this rapidly after a solid contest is a good sign. This racer wins a lot of cash per race. I believe he can add to the lifetime total in this race.

MR Z'S - In any race of 6 furlongs, I like to play a contender that has been looking good in sprint contests recently. Just can't play this steed. Didn't show me anything last out or on November 12th. This gelding registered a speed rating in his last affair which likely isn't good enough in today's race. ITALIAN STOGIE - Tough to support any thoroughbred that runs as well as he did and then lays up and doesn't workout at all. Hard to play a steed that cannot even prove victorious one time in his last ten races. This questionable contender has not finished first here today in 11 starts. Little chance he wins today. HUNTER CAT - Didn't land in the top three on Feb 26th at Mountaineer. Followed it up with another lackluster effort
