Split 'em yesterday. Boston, getting 8 points, had an 11 point lead in the fourth quarter. Yes, we were up by 19 points from a spread perspective. Well, somehow they managed to lose the game by 10. Unbelievable!

Good luck tonight!COMMA_NAME!!

*PORTLAND +7 vs. San Antonio (Check latest line)

The Spurs are on a roll, having won seven of their last eight games. How can they get up for this one against the lowly Blazers who have dropped two of their last three and sit at .500? They won't. In December, NBA road favorites of 3.5 to 9.5 points off 2 or more consecutive wins are just 12-40 (77%) ATS over the last 5 seasons. In addition hot road teams having won 15 or more of their last 20 games, and winning 75%+ of their games on the season are only 23-55 ATS (71%) over the last 5 seasons. These ring true as the public starts overreacting to a teams great performance. I like Portland (one star) to keep this one closer than 7 at home tonight. (Bet game @ BoDog |

Betting Recommendations and Unit Tracking
My star ratings equate to the following betting recommendations for each pick. For tracking purposes on my site, my bankroll is assumed to be an even $5000.

  * (1 star) = 1% of bankroll (or $50)
  ** (2 star) = 2% of bankroll (or $100)
  *** (3 star) = 3% of bankroll (or $150)
  **** (4 star) = 4% of bankroll (or $200)
  ***** (5 star) = 5% of bankroll (or $250)
  ****** (6 star) = 6% of bankroll (or $300)

To determine your bet amount, you should simply use the percentages below, multiplied by your specific bankroll. It is my strong recommendation that you never bet more than 10% of your bankroll on any given game - ever! You should usually bet just a few percent. There are no such thing as locks. See my write-up on Bankroll Management.
