The
Vols are coming off a
throttling by Louisville
this past weekend, while
the Wildcats easily disposed
of the LSU Tigers. UK and
the Vols have had some
memorbale contests of late,
particularly at UT. High
scoring road favorites
of 3.5 to 9.5
points scoring 74-78
PPG facing an average
defensive team (67-74 PPG)
off a a big win by
15 points or more are just
10-35 (22%) ATS over the
last 5 seasons. Two
stars on Tennessee plus the
points here to defend
their home court with honor.
UT
played well at
Oklahoma, and the
loss of Tucker
did
not seem to rear
its head. It will
be more apparent
here and as the season
goes along. Tech
is improving
with each game, and
this is a big statement
game for
the Red Raiders who
seem poised to challenge
the
upstart Sooners for
the Big 12 South.
This is a lot
of points considering
how evenly matched
these two
teams look on paper.
These two teams always
seem to
play one another
close, and this should
be no
exception. Take the
points here for two
stars.
****WISCONSIN
+1 vs. Illinois (Check
latest line)
The
Illini could be in trouble
here. Wisconsin has a
tremendous home court advantage
in Madtown. Wisconsin is
29-10 ATS in home games
over the
last 3
seasons. They are also 30-14
ATS in home games versus
good shooting teams
(making >45%) since
1997. It will
be nearly impossible for
the
Illini to run the table in
a tough Big Ten conference,
and this looks like a pitfall.
We side with
the Badgers on their home
court for four stars here.

Betting
Recommendations and Unit Tracking
My star ratings equate to the following betting recommendations for
each pick. For tracking purposes on my site, my bankroll is assumed
to be an even $5000.
* (1
star) = 1% of bankroll (or $50)
**
(2 star) = 2% of bankroll (or $100)
***
(3 star) = 3% of bankroll (or $150)
****
(4 star) = 4% of bankroll (or $200)
*****
(5 star) = 5% of bankroll (or $250)
******
(6 star) = 6% of bankroll (or $300)
To
determine your bet amount, you should simply use the percentages
below, multiplied by your specific bankroll. It is my
strong recommendation that you
never bet more than 10% of your bankroll on any given
game - ever! You should usually bet just a few percent.
There are no such thing as locks. See my
write-up on Bankroll
Management.
