college picks tonight.

This
is a rivalry tilt for these two squads. Bama
will be one of the top teams in the SEC this season,
and the Hogs look to climb back into the top tier of
the league, after struggling since the departure of
Nolan Richardson. Arkansas enters only 8-21 ATS
versus excellent teams (shooting >45%
with a defense of <42%) over the last 3 seasons.
Arkansas is 1-5 ATS as a
home favorite of 6 points or less or pick over the
last 3 seasons. Tthis is
a tough road spot for Bama but I think they'll keep
it close here and have a very good chance at the road
win.
Two
stars on the Tide.
AFA
has been playing better of late, and St. Mary's
is
more of an up tempo team, so they may struggle
with
AFA's slow it down and "D" - it - up style. AFA
has finally
adjusted itself to the deaprture of head coach
Joe
Scott. The Academy hits some threes here and
this line is a
very bad one. Air Force is 23-6 ATS
versus good rebounding teams (outrebounding
opponents
by 4+ per game) since 1997.
Air Force is 13-3 ATS
after allowing 65 points or less 4 straight games
over
the last 3 seasons. This line is
too
high. Yes, St. Mary's is a good team, but Air
Force has started playing better and isn't that
bad. They are beginning to hit their stride
as they
head into the Mountain West. This should be a
very
good ballgame. Three star pick on the Fliers.
