The
Colorado State pick came through for us with the cover last
night. The other pick in the Dayton/Cornell game had to wait,
due to a postponed game (flooding). I'll keep that pick for
today and add a couple more.
My 2004
CBB picks.
Good
luck tonight!COMMA_NAME!!

Two
teams going in opposite directions. Cornell sorely
misses Ka' Ron Barnes, last season's leading
scorer, lost to graduation. They are really slumping
right now, scoring just 58 points per game and shooting
under
42% over
their last five games. Dayton, on the other hand is
putting up 74 per game over their last five. Dayton's
coming off a loss to a team they should have easily
beat, obviously taking Duquesne lightly. They won't
repeat that mistake today. I expect them to bounce
back nicely here. Dayton is
10-2 ATS
off
an
upset loss
to
a conference
rival as a favorite since 1997. One star on Dayton
minus the points.
This
Kentucky team likes to feast on oppoenents that
just cannot match their depth, and their defensive
energy. The Jayhawks are no such team. Kansas is
16-6 ATS in road games after a win by
6
points or less since 1997. This line
is so big because the Jayhawks will most likely be
without Simien, the best PF in the nation. But they
did not need him last weekend when they beat Georgia
Tech.
Kentucky will have their hands full at home with the
Jayhawks. This one is early must see TV for college
hoops fanatics. Two stars on the Kansas plus the
points.
Miami
has been one of the suprise
teams in the ACC this season, and plays host
to the Jeckyl and Hyde
Wolfpack, who have dropped some
games they should not have on paper thus far.
The bottom line here is
Julius Hodge and NC State need
to wake up and start playing good basketball.
Another loss here and
they're staring at three losses
in a row. This one is
a conference tilt though and
the Wolfpack will get the
W here. State is 27-9 ATS in
conference games over the last
3 seasons. Miami will make this tough, but will
not have enough in the
end. NC State minus the points
for three stars.

Betting
Recommendations and Unit Tracking
My star ratings equate to the following betting recommendations for
each pick. For tracking purposes on my site, my bankroll is assumed
to be an even $5000.
* (1
star) = 1% of bankroll (or $50)
**
(2 star) = 2% of bankroll (or $100)
***
(3 star) = 3% of bankroll (or $150)
****
(4 star) = 4% of bankroll (or $200)
*****
(5 star) = 5% of bankroll (or $250)
******
(6 star) = 6% of bankroll (or $300)
To
determine your bet amount, you should simply use the percentages
below, multiplied by your specific bankroll. It is my
strong recommendation that you
never bet more than 10% of your bankroll on any given
game - ever! You should usually bet just a few percent.
There are no such thing as locks. See my
write-up on Bankroll
Management.
