The
Gophers have taken seven straight from opponents including
a 79-58 win over Coppin State on New Year's day. Home
favorites of 3.5 to 9.5 points in a non-conference
game coming off a home blowout win by 20 points or
more are a nice 162-103 (61%) since 1997. Minnesota
is 7-1 SU athome and 5-2 ATS overall. They're scoring
over 80 points per game over their last five. Loyola
struggles on the road (39.8% shooting and 67 points
per game). Over the past three seasons, they are 1-5
ATS as a road underdog of 6.5 to 9 points. Meanwhile,
Minnesota is 11-3 ATS as a home favorite of 6.5 to
9 points since 1997. One star on the Golden Gophers
as they are just too strong, especially at home. (Bet

Utah
is one of the best teams at home in the country.
Star big man Andrew Bogut is leading the Utes this
season, while the LSU Tigers are struggling in a big
way. They've been whooped by lots of teams thus far
and I
don't see it get any easier here. Utah is 8-1 ATS in
home games when playing against a good team (60%-80%
SU) over the last 3 seasons. The Utes are in the midst
of a five
game winning streak and are 7-0 on their home court
this season. Home favorites of 3.5 to 9.5 points off
2 or more consecutive home
wins playing
in non-conference games cover the spread about two-thirds
of the time. Two star pick on Utah minus
