I like the value in this one as Wisconsin is on quite a role. We'll go with the contrarian home dog pick. Wisconsin lost the Devin Harris, Big Ten player of the year. Pepperdine is on a bit of a roll, too, at 3-1. Pepperdine is 14-5 ATS in home games off a road win since 1997. Home underdogs of 3.5 to 9.5 points in a non-conference game, playing only their 2nd game in a week are 63% ATS. Pepperdine steps it up in their home opener here. Wrong team is favored here. Miami has been impressive thus far posting wins against Purdue and on the road against Xavier. Butler is not the same team that made headway in the NCAA tournament two years agho. They have graduated just about everyone from that team, and will struggle once again to score points this season. This is their first true test. BUTLER is 1-5 ATS off 2 or more consecutive home wins over the last 3 seasons.
