Washington
had a great great year last year when they
upset Stanford and became the darlings of the west
coast with their late season run. Utah had a
nice season as well. One thing sticks out from
last season about the Utes, however. When Jacobson was
not scoring in droves, the Utes struggled to score
points. Jacobson is gone and while Jackson and Bogut
are back for this team, it will take time for the Utes
to get their feel offensively. UW's stellar guard
play will continue as Nate Robinson and Brandon Roy
return to lead the Huskies. These Huskies will have
too much fire power and pressure defense for the Utes
at this early stage in the season. I like this low
number and think it should be higher. Two stars on
Washington -4 here (2% of bankroll).
