The
Deamon Deacons have been living on
the edge
this entire season. They started the
season in an
unfamiliar place, at the top of the
world. They
venture into one of the most difficult
places to play
in the country tonight. The Pit has
killed many a opponent
over the years, and this looks like
a problem for the
streaky Deamon Deacons. Wake depends
on the outside
shot and will struggle at altitude
here. Underdogs after 3 straight
wins by 10
points or more against opponent after
scoring 85
points or more 2 straight games are
36-14 (72%) since 1997. The
Deamon Deacons
are 20-43 ATS in road
games versus good
shooting teams (making >45% of
their shots) and 23-46
ATS in road games when
playing only
their 2nd game in a week since 1997.
We'll go with stars on the
Lobos at home. (Bet

Wyoming
is on a rebound mission from being
an average
basketball team one year ago. See my
earlier play
about tough places for road teams to
play. UW is one
of 'em. I like the Cowboys in this
spot against the
overrated Pac-10 bunch. WSU is scoring
a whopping
44.6 ppg on the road this season. Not
enough to get
it done here. Home teams
where the line is
+3 to -3 that are about average offensively
(scoring 67-74
PPG) against an excellent defensive
team (<63 PPG),
after allowing 30 points or less in
the first half in
2 straight games are 31-9 ATS (76%)
over the last 5 seasons. The
Cougars are
3-11 ATS after having
won 2 of their last
3 games over the last 3 seasons.
Two stars on the Cowboys in this one.

Betting
Recommendations and Unit Tracking
My star ratings equate to the following betting recommendations for
each pick. For tracking purposes on my site, my bankroll is assumed
to be an even $5000.
* (1
star) = 1% of bankroll (or $50)
**
(2 star) = 2% of bankroll (or $100)
***
(3 star) = 3% of bankroll (or $150)
****
(4 star) = 4% of bankroll (or $200)
*****
(5 star) = 5% of bankroll (or $250)
******
(6 star) = 6% of bankroll (or $300)
To
determine your bet amount, you should simply use the percentages
below, multiplied by your specific bankroll. It is my
strong recommendation that you
never bet more than 10% of your bankroll on any given
game - ever! You should usually bet just a few percent.
There are no such thing as locks. See my
write-up on Bankroll
Management.
