Complimentary Picks
*Illinois Chicago +21 (-110) vs. DUKE (Check latest line)

UIC's off a surprise 24-8 / NCAA tourney season but they've lost their top scorers and rebounders. The linesmakers dont seem to be giving much credit to coach Collins here, installing them as a 21-point dog. Sure, they are overmatched against Duke but the Flames are 3-3 and haven't lost a game this season by more than 12 points. They're playing pretty good defense, holding opponents to 62 points per game on the road and 40% shooting overall. They took Georgia Tech to the wire, falling by just one point on November 22nd as a 10.5 point underdog. UIC plays pretty good ball historically in December and in non-conference games. They are 31-16 ATS in December games and 53-25 ATS in non-conference games since 1997. Coach K is off his 700th career victory and he and his team will be taking UIC a bit lightly, allowing for a back-door cover in this one. One star pick: UIC plus the points. (Bet game @ BoDog |

Betting Recommendations and Unit Tracking
My star ratings equate to the following betting recommendations for each pick. For tracking purposes on my site, my bankroll is assumed to be an even $5000.

  * (1 star) = 1% of bankroll (or $50)
  ** (2 star) = 2% of bankroll (or $100)
  *** (3 star) = 3% of bankroll (or $150)
  **** (4 star) = 4% of bankroll (or $200)
  ***** (5 star) = 5% of bankroll (or $250)
  ****** (6 star) = 6% of bankroll (or $300)

To determine your bet amount, you should simply use the percentages below, multiplied by your specific bankroll. It is my strong recommendation that you never bet more than 10% of your bankroll on any given game - ever! You should usually bet just a few percent. There are no such thing as locks. See my write-up on Bankroll Management.
