A
tale of two teams in Aimes, Iowa. ISU has had a
great deal of difficulty on the road in recent
seasons. When they are on their homecourt, however,
the story is much different. They were nearly
unbeatable at home last season, and posted convincing
wins versus Kansas and Texas on their homecourt.
They
have struggled out of the gate this season but have
faced some pretty good competition thus far. UVA
has
yet to lose this season and recently cracked the
top
25, but they are not as good as their record seems
to
indicate. They narrowly beat Northwestern and Auburn
last week, two teams who are very average clubs.
The
Cyclones are historically very good vs. good shooting
teams. They are 51-29 ATS versus teams at >45%
from the field since 1997. UVA may be headed into
a
buzz
saw on
the road
here. The Cavaliers beat ISU by 11 on their home
court one year ago. An eager crowd will be awaiting
the Cavs visit to Aimes, which is certainly one of
the
toughest spots for an opponent in the Big 12
conference. ISU will give them some early exam prep
here. Two stars on the Cyclones in this one. (Bet
