Call
this a road game if you'd like but it really
is
not for the Wildcats. Most people have not noticed,
but Nova has returned all five starters this season
from the young team that made waves late last season
in the Big East and NIT. Villanova could be dominant
down low this season if their young horses Sunpter
and
Frazier continue to develop. The Wildcats are 6-1
ATS
after a game outrebounding opponent
by 15
or more over the last 3 seasons.
Teams have slowly figured out Chaney's
matchup zone over the last few seasons in part
because
many teams are running the same defense. This could
be coming out party for the Wildcats. Two stars
on
Nova minus the points.

Folks
in Corvalis were looking forward to this
season as they returned a ton of talent from
last season'ss
team. Some even expected them to be the suprise
team
in the PAC-10 this season. Funny thing happened
on
the way to the church though. Players began falling
like snow flakes in late fall. Nick DeWitz became
academically ineligible, All PAC-10 forward
Lucas is
out indefinitely with an injury, and shooting
guard
Angelo Tsagarkis is also out with injury.
Therefore, what looked to be a deep and talented
team
at the get go, is seriously hurt and missing
its top
player and three of its top six. They host a
Colorado
team that is deeper than one can remember in
Boulder.
Patton's sqaud has looked good in the early going
beating College of Charleston and Northwestern
at
home, and losing to Michigan on the road. OSU
has not
been a great home team by any stretch in recent
seasons. The Beavers are 8-19 ATS in
home games when playing against a good team (Win
Pct.
60% to 80%) since 1997.
I think that continues here.
Two
stars on the Buffs in Corvallis.

Folks,
this LBS team is very good and the public has
been slow to catch on as they remember last year's
horrendous 6-21 team. On the road on Tuesday,
they gave UCLA a run for
their
money
after two
impressive wins in which they shot over 54% from
the field, lead by Coleman. Loyola Marymount
has three wins but they have been less-than impressive
against weak opponents. Where did one of Long
Beach's few wins come last year?
You
guessed
it - vs. this Loyola team. I like the matchup
here and like Long Beach State to cover this
number. Three stars on Long Beach State plus
the points. (Bet

Betting
Recommendations and Unit Tracking
My star ratings equate to the following betting recommendations for
each pick. For tracking purposes on my site, my bankroll is assumed
to be an even $5000.
* (1
star) = 1% of bankroll (or $50)
**
(2 star) = 2% of bankroll (or $100)
***
(3 star) = 3% of bankroll (or $150)
****
(4 star) = 4% of bankroll (or $200)
*****
(5 star) = 5% of bankroll (or $250)
******
(6 star) = 6% of bankroll (or $300)
To
determine your bet amount, you should simply use the percentages
below, multiplied by your specific bankroll. It is my
strong recommendation that you
never bet more than 10% of your bankroll on any given
game - ever! You should usually bet just a few percent.
There are no such thing as locks. See my
write-up on Bankroll
Management.
