The
Big East has struggled somewhat in the non-conference
portion of their scedules, and Tech draws a
tough opponent here. Jeff Lebo has done a great
job
at UTC and should move on pretty soon to a big
time
program. He has his main man back this season in
Ashley Champion who was the Conference PLayer of
the
Year one year ago. Tech is full of young kids,
and is
the preseason pick to be the doormat of the ACC
in its
first year. Tech should win this game, but UTC
will
keep it close throughout. The Chattanooga Choo-Choo
for two stars here.
