The
Pirates roared out of the gates beating Pepperdine and
Oregon State to open the season before NC State and Julius
Hodge brought them back to earth a bit. The Rockets return
all five starters but that is not saying much for this
squad. Toledo is not a strong defensive team and will
pay for it once again here. Toledo's winless while E.
Carolina sits at 2-1 and is off a big win. When the spread
is between +3 to -3, teams coming off a game
in
which
they
allowed
50 points or less, facing an opponent after
a loss of 10 points or more are an incredible 58-26
(69%) ATS over the last 5 seasons. One star (1%)
on the Pirates on their home court. (Bet

The
Shockers have returned their top two scorers
and
have added some nice recruits as well. They will
continue to rip up the nets this season. USF is
only
3-10 ATS in road games when their
opponents make 47% to 53% of their shots in a game
over the last 3 seasons. The Shockers will hit
that
magic number of 47% tonight and get the cover.
Two
stars (2%) on the Shockers here to keep it rolling
early on. (Bet

Betting
Recommendations and Unit Tracking
My star ratings equate to the following betting recommendations for
each pick. For tracking purposes on my site, my bankroll is assumed
to be an even $5000.
* (1
star) = 1% of bankroll (or $50)
**
(2 star) = 2% of bankroll (or $100)
***
(3 star) = 3% of bankroll (or $150)
****
(4 star) = 4% of bankroll (or $200)
*****
(5 star) = 5% of bankroll (or $250)
******
(6 star) = 6% of bankroll (or $300)
To
determine your bet amount, you should simply use the percentages
below, multiplied by your specific bankroll. It is my
strong recommendation that you
never bet more than 10% of your bankroll on any given
game - ever! You should usually bet just a few percent.
There are no such thing as locks. See my
write-up on Bankroll
Management.
