Wunderdog's NCAA BASKETBALL PICK OF THE WEEK

2004 Week ending February 21st

3 Stars: Ohio University (+11) @ Miami of Ohio

The ever-rare three star play.  This is simply a tale of two teams headed in opposite directions.  Miami is only 1-4 ATS in their last five while Ohio U is 4-1 ATS in their last five.  Miami of Ohio has been a shadow of its former self offensively this season

which plays into OU's hands and ours with the high point spread.  OU is 5-1 ATS against good defensive teams this season in low scoring games which end in the 50's or 60's.  OU is also 13-3 ATS while playing a team with a winning record after 15 games over the

last three seasons.  Finally, in Ohio U's 67-64 win earlier this season, OU shot only 38% and still won the game.  Considering UM's inability to score points in bunches, a similar effort from the floor should get us the cover in this one.
