Nba Picks - November 19, 2008Last night we shot 60% adding to a 17.5 unit run over the last six days. Today we hit the hardwood with three plays including two 4 units. ![]() Today's NBA Basketball Picks: The Jazz are burning up the court again at home off to a 5-0 start. The Bucks are off a dismal season that saw them finish 3-18 and went through a lot of injuries. They are a better team this year falling under the radar. The Bucks have managed a 3-0-1 ATS mark as a dog of nine or more and have been 5-0-1 ATS in their last six on the road. Their five wins on the season nearly doubles their win total in their last 21 a year ago, so definitely an under-valued team right now. Utah may not be into this one as they have a score to settle with the Spurs who are up next, after their final meeting last year where the Jazz were beaten to a pulp by San Antonio by 29. The Jazz may be winning, but not getting the money, as they have been just 2-5 ATS in their last seven. I like the under-valued Bucks who are flying under the radar right to the cash window. Game: Cleveland at Detroit (8:00 PM Eastern) Pick: 3 units on First Half UNDER 95 -110 (risk 3 to win 2.7) The Cavs and Pistons renew a physical heated rivalry tonight in Detroit. These teams have played so many ugly games and why should tonight be any different. This being the first time these two have gotten together this season should add to the opening 24 minutes of intensity. These teams met in the regular season four times last year and the 1st half totals were 91,83,82, and 71 points each or an average of just 81.8 points per game. I expect another physical ugly game here, especially since this is their 1st meeting of the season and I'll back the first half UNDER here. Game: Sacramento at New Orleans (8:00 PM Eastern) Pick: 4 units on Sacramento +13.5 (-110) (risk 4 to win 3.6) The New Orleans Hornets made a lot of noise in the NBA last season as an up and coming team. This season they have been slow out of the gate at 5-4 and have not covered in any of their last six. The biggest reason is they are simply in an offensive rut right now, having scored 89 or less in five of the last six. That hits the danger zone when trying to lay double-digits and your offense is nowhere to be found. The fact is they haven't won a game by this margin the entire season yet because of it! The Kings, after an 0-4 start, have played a lot more competitive basketball as they are even at 4-4 in their last eight. They were blown out of the building in three of their first four, but have lost by just one, two, and eight points in three of their last four losses. Too many points here, I'll take the Kings to hang tough. Results: 2-1 ![]() NBA Basketball Picks Resources:
