The Grizzlies are 4-10 ATS in their last 14 road games, 4-11 ATS in their last 15 games as an underdog. They just finished up a long West Coast trip too, and the Grizzlies are 0-7 ATS in their last seven road games against a team with a winning home record. It has taken a toll, riding a 1-4 SU/ATS run with the offense struggling. That offense faces a first-place Atlanta squad that is fourth in the NBA in points allowed (90.6 points per game), a big factor in their improvement. The Hawks are 5-0-1 ATS in their last six games as a favorite and the Grizzlies are 2-8 ATS in the last 10 meetings, including a poor 1-5 ATS in the last six meetings in Atlanta. Play the Atlanta Hawks. In addition, look for a low-scoring game with the road weary Memphis offense scoring 91 or less during its four-game skid. The UNDER is 10-1 in the Grizzlies’ last 11 road games. The UNDER is 6-0 in the Hawks’ last six against the Western Conference and 20-7 UNDER the total in their last 27 games as a favorite of -0.5 to -4.5. Play Atlanta and the Grizzlies/Hawks UNDER the total.Game: Chicago at New York (8:00 PM Eastern) Pick: 2 units on New York +3.5 (-110) (risk 2 to win 1.8) Chicago has only six losses all season, but five of them have come on the road. They will be walking into a fired-up hornet's nest in New York. The Bulls are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games as a favorite of -0.5 to -4 and this is their fourth straight road game of a difficult trip, including at Miami and at Philly already. The last game was a tough one, getting smacked around by the 76ers. New York appears to have found its offense again, and is on a 2-1 ATS run with 113 points their last game. They won't get that here, but the heat is on the players and embattled Coach Mike D’Antoni, so look for a huge effort by the home team with the wild home crowd behind them. Play the NY Knicks.Game: Portland at Sacramento (10:00 PM Eastern) Pick: 2 units on Sacramento +3.5 (-110) (risk 2 to win 1.8) This is a tough situational spot for the visitors, with Portland playing its third game in four nights as well as the second of a back-to-back spot. They got a nice win over Charlotte last night at home, but Portland has been a bad road team (3-8). The Blazers are 3-12 ATS in their last 15 road games and 1-5 ATS in their last six games playing on no rest. Sacramento is rested and no team in the West has played fewer home games than the Kings at eight home games to 13 road contests. I can't trust this tired Portland team at this price that hasn't flunked on the road all season. Play the Kings.Game: Utah at Golden State (10:30 PM Eastern) Pick: 2 units on Utah +5 (-110) (risk 2 to win 1.8) Utah is in the second of a back-to-back spot, but is a fine team with good depth. Utah center Al Jefferson (inflamed right ankle) is back in the lineup, joining Josh Howard with Gordon Hayward sliding down to shooting guard. They come off a close loss to the Clippers last night, 107-105, and Jazz coach Tyrone Corbin said LA's 50-35 rebounding edge was a big factor. Al Jefferson had 27 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Jazz, looking sharp and healthy. They won't get outrebounded this game, however, against a small Golden State (7-12) frontcourt that has a losing home record. The Warriors are on a 1-5 ATS run overall, as well as 1-5 ATS in their last six home games. Play the Jazz. Results: 3-2 ![]() NBA Basketball Picks Resources:
